About me
I started my counselling journey 16 years ago but put it on hold due to raising my children and work commitments. I completed my training in 2017, gaining a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. Since then I have continued my learning which includes a Level 5 Diploma in CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy). My core model is Person Centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques are also an integral part of my work.
What I do
I will listen in a non-judgemental way.
We can explore how you feel about your past or current situation and work with you to create your own coping strategies for now and the future. I believe that every person is unique, therefore your sessions will be tailored to your individual needs.
I work with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, low self-esteem and many more.

What it costs
I currently work within the charity sector and I also work as a counsellor within the NHS. I offer private counselling, and rates start at £30-£50. I also offer an assessment session at no charge. I feel this is important as taking the first step to see a counsellor can be a scary one and it is important for both of us to feel comfortable with each other and establish what areas you would like to explore. If you feel that we are a good fit, then we can work together on what you want to explore and achieve whilst attending counselling sessions.
